Tóm tắt

Papers in this special issue focus on the challenges that financial crises, economic downturns and emerging technologies pose to corporate governance. The purpose is twofold. First, to take stock of corporate governance research to date. What do we know? What are the gaps in the literature? Could research benefit from novel perspectives? Second, to identify new challenges, brought to the foreground by the emergence of new technologies and new forms of raising funds, like Initial Coin Offerings and crowdfunding, for those intent on protecting investor rights.
