Tóm tắt

The surface contribution to the specific heat of saturated and unsaturated He II films has been considered. The temperature dependence of the surface-contributed specific heat is found to depend on the range of temperatures as well as the film thickness under consideration. A comparison with earlier results is made, and it is found that those results are not consistent with the specific heat contributed by the capillary wave modes of the free surface.
