Ideas dumped? Students stumped? Try it backwards! Asking students to solve problems by developing “bad” solutions, reverse-brainstorming is a technique known for its usefulness as a way to improve creativity, expand ideas, and stimulate group discussion. This article explains the historical usage of reverse-brainstorming in the workplace and provides a step-by-step guide for applying it to the management classroom.
