A model of citizens’ trust in intelligence services

This article addresses a topic that has rarely been addressed in the available scientific literature, according to our knowledge. It comprehensively defines citizens’ trust in the services, identifies the factors influencing this type of trust, and proposes a model for establishing and maintaining holistic trust. The research described in the article is based on the analysed publicly available literature in the field of trust (in general and specific types of trust) and intelligence services, while offering its definition of trust (in general) and holistic trust.
