On Weighted Exponential Distribution and Its Length Biased Version
Tóm tắt
In this paper we consider the weighted exponential distribution proposed by Gupta and Kundu (Statistics 43:621–634, 2009) and discuss its various reliability properties. We further consider the length biased version of the weighted exponential distribution, and discuss different properties and inferential issues. The maximum likelihood estimators of the unknown parameters of the proposed length biased weighted exponential distribution has been addressed. One data set has been analyzed for illustrative purposes.
