Tóm tắt

A thermodynamic description is proposed to express the polarity of stationary phases in terms of the partial molar free energies of solution obtained for standards. This expression is an absolute value for any stationary phase and does not need squalane as the phase with “zero polarity”. Equations are given to express the contributions of dispersive interaction and of the sum of inductive, orientative and specific interactions to the partial molar free energies of solution for any substance in any phase.
