Tóm tắt

Bjorn Lomborg, the "sceptical environmentalist", argues that anxious environmentalists have got it wrong. The world's environment is basically doing fine, he says, despite the increase in humankind's demands upon it.[11] Indeed, he points to various improvements in environmental conditions achieved in recent decades. However, he is only telling the more superficial part of the story; he fails to explore the less familiar, but troubling, possible consequences of the disruption of Earth's ecological, climatic and other natural systems.
