Water-distilled essential oil from the aerial parts ofS. Boissieriwas analyzed by GC/MS. Forty - five components were characterized representing 97% of the oil. The main components were identified as carvacrol (40.8%),γ-terpinene (26.4%), andp-cymene (14.5%).
