Multilayered open dielectric waveguide with a gyrotropic layer

Open dielectric waveguides with a gyrotropic layer have been studied with a view to find structures in which the nonreciprocity in the propagation constant is maximized. A prediction based on a qualitative analysis and numerical studies for confirming the theory are included.
