Tóm tắt
Những người tham gia vào quan hệ tình dục giao dịch được xem là một nhóm dân số then chốt trong công tác phòng ngừa HIV. Các khảo sát định lượng trước đây cho thấy nam giới đồng tính hành vi ở Vientiane, Lào thường tham gia vào quan hệ tình dục giao dịch. Năm 2013, chúng tôi đã tiến hành một nghiên cứu định tính để khám phá kinh nghiệm, động lực và nhận thức của nam giới đồng tính hành vi liên quan đến quan hệ tình dục giao dịch tại Vientiane. Các nam giới đồng tính hành vi được tuyển chọn từ các quán bar, câu lạc bộ đêm và ký túc xá để tham gia năm cuộc thảo luận nhóm tập trung (FGDs) và 11 cuộc phỏng vấn sâu (n = 31).
