Sa sút trí tuệ là một căn bệnh không thể chữa trị với những hậu quả tàn khốc đối với cả bệnh nhân và người thân của họ. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là mô tả giao thức nghiên cứu của một thử nghiệm ngẫu nhiên có đối chứng với việc phân loại người tham gia vào hai nhóm: chăm sóc thông thường hoặc quản lý ca bệnh bởi y tá vùng dành cho những người chăm sóc không chuyên của người cao tuổi có triệu chứng sa sút trí tuệ sống tại nhà và những người cao tuổi nhận sự chăm sóc không chuyên.
