Báo cáo về việc điều trị các khối bướu giáp trước phẫu thuật tại Klinikum Đại học Chirurgische Hamburg-Eppendorf. Tất cả được chuẩn bị với Endo-iodine theo cùng một giao thức. Trong mọi trường hợp, tình trạng cường giáp được giảm xuống đến trạng thái "bình giáp" và không có cơn cường giáp hậu phẫu nào được quan sát thấy. Tác động của i-ốt lên siêu cấu trúc của các tế bào được thảo luận trên cơ sở các vi hình electron của các khối bướu giáp.
