Évaluation cystomanométrique de la sensibilité vésicale

L’évaluation de la sensibilité vésicale lors de la cystomanométrie fait partie du bilan des troubles du bas appareil urinaire. La progression du besoin lors de la phase de remplissage vésical peut être suivie par la méthode standard de référence, recommandée par l’International Continence Society (ICS), basée sur la perception de trois besoins, soit par une mesure continue à l’aide d’une échelle visuelle analogique (EVA). Les valeurs des différents besoins, obtenues avec la méthode standard, doivent être exprimées en pourcentage de la capacité cystomanométrique maximale (CCM). Ces différentes sensations sont en réalité une seule sensation dont l’intensité croît continuellement lors du remplissage vésical. D’autres études basées sur la méthode EVA devraient permettre de valider les critères de normalité, afin de mieux appréhender le besoin d’uriner chez les sujets non neurologiques et neurologiques et en cas d’études pharmacologiques.
