The scale has been standardized and divided into 3 groups: Health care, prevention of disease, health promotion. Children under 3 years have immature immunological system, which can affect their development in the future. However, the health management, diseases treatment, and diseases prevention of children younger than 3 years of age depend signifcantly on the health literacy of their mothers. This study aims to describe the health literacy of mothers who have children under 3 years and some factors affecting their health literacy. Data were collected on 389 mothers of children younger than 3 years who take their children to the vaccination clinics at Hanoi Medical University and latent analysis was conducted to identify class of health literacy within the sample. Three health literacy classes were identifed. The lowest mean health literacy index was within the disease prevention dimension, where the largest number of respondents showed limited health literacy. Three distinct health literacy level were identifed and termed low (n = 35.9%), moderate (n = 243, 62.5%) and high health literacy (n = 111, 28.5%). We found that higher scores of Health Literacy Scores (HLS) closely correlated with higher educational levels, the job of mothers, the age of children and the frequency of searching for health information using the internet. There were signifcant better overall scores in HLS among parents with higher education levels (university degree or higher with more than under high school graduated). Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy: Trung bình điểm chất lượng cuộc sống chung của người cao tuổi theo thang điểm 100 là 74,94 ± 13,14 điểm. Điểm chất lượng cao nhất ở khía cạnh tình thân với 77,95 ± 21,70 điểm, thấp nhất là Giác quan với 70,56 ± 21,31 điểm. Đa số đối tượng nghiên cứu có chất lượng cuộc sống (CLCS) ở mức tốt và khá, tuy nhiên vẫn còn 5,0% ở mức trung bình và 0,4% ở mức thấp ","A cross-sectional study was conducted with 504 older people in Hanoi city by using the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire to describe the quality of life of the elderly in Hanoi city in 2018. The research results showed that: The overall quality of life of the elderly was 74.94 ± 13,14 on 0-100 scale. The facet that scored the highest was Intimacy (77.95 ± 21) while the facet scored the lowest was the Sensory with 70.56 ± 21.31 points. Đối tượng là trẻ dưới 15 tuổi trên toàn quốc bị LMC được ghi nhận trên phần mềm giám sát của Ban giám sát BL Quốc gia. Kết quả cho thấy tỷ lệ phát hiện LMC\u002F100.000 dân và tỷ lệ LMC lấy đủ 2 mẫu phân đúng quy định vượt yêu cầu của Tổ chức Y tế thế giới (WHO) trong cả giai đoạn 2015 - 2019. LMC chủ yếu được phát hiện ở trẻ < 5 tuổi (81,2%). Tỷ lệ LMC ở nam (58,9%) cao hơn ở nữ (41,1%). Hơn 90% các trường hợp LMC uống ít nhất 3 liều vắc xin bại liệt dạng uống (OPV). Không phân lập được trường hợp vi rút bại liệt hoang dại trong mẫu phân của các trường hợp LMC, 12% dương tính với các vi rút đường ruột khác. Việt Nam vẫn duy trì hệ thống giám sát LMC\u002FBL đạt chất lượng cao trong giai đoạn 2015 - 2019. Hệ thống này cần tiếp tục đảm bảo chất lượng giám sát, tìm kiếm tích cực các trường hợp LMC, không bỏ sót trường hợp bệnh, đồng thời tăng cường công tác tiêm chủng để bảo vệ thành quả thanh toán bệnh BL trong các giai đoạn tiếp theo. ","The study describes activities and the results of acuted flaccid paralysis (AFP) surveillance system during the period of 2015- 2019. Study subjects were all children under 15 years old with AFP who were recorded in AFP surveillance software of the National Polio Surveillance Board. The results showed  that the incidence of AFP\u002F100.000 children under 15 years old and the proportion of AFP with adequate 2 stool specimens exceeded the target of WHO during 2015 - 2019. AFP almost happened among children under 5 years old (81.2%). The frequency of AFP was found to be higher among boys (58.9%) than girls(41.1%). More than 90% of AFP cases were received at least 3 doses of oral polio vaccine (OPV). No wild polio virus was isolated from AFP cases’ stools, 12% of AFP cases were identifed as non-polio enterovirus. Viet Nam continues to maintain the high quality of AFP surveillance system within 2015 - 2019. Besides modern production lines,there are still old technological lines that generate a lot of silica dust (SiO2) in the working environment, leading to an increased risk of silicosis. This study aims to describe current incidence of silicosis in workers of two steel factories in Thai Nguyen in 2018. A cross-sectional study was applied. Clinical examination, respiratory function test and radiographic examinations for workers in direct exposure with silica dust in two steel factories. The results showed that there is no difference in the incidence of silicosis between the two steel factories, the incidence of silicosis in workers at Luu Xa Steel Making Plant and Cast Iron Making Factory were 12.3% and 11.5%, respectively. All small rounded opacities werep-opacities. The radiograph showed that the subcategory 1\u002F1 standard radiograph was major with 54.5%. Pulmonary dysfunction rate was 17.4%. In particular, restrictive pulmonary dysfunction rate was highest in pulmonary dysfunctions with 16.6%. ","Luyện gang và luyện thép là ngành công nghiệp được hình thành sớm ở nước ta, bên cạnh các dây chuyền sản xuất hiện đại, vẫn còn những dây chuyền công nghệ cũ, làm phát sinh nhiều bụi silic (SiO2) trong môi trường lao động (MTLĐ), dẫn đến tăng nguy cơ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic. Nghiên cứu dược tiến hành nhằm mô tả thực trạng mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic ở người lao động (NLĐ) của hai nhà máy luyện gang thép ở Thái Nguyên năm 2018. Thiết kế nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện để tiến hành khám lâm sàng, đo chức năng hô hấp và chụp phim X – quang phổi cho NLĐ tiếp xúc trực tiếp với bụi silic tronghai nhà máy luyện gang và luyện thép Lưu Xá. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy không có sự khác biệt về tỷ lệ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic giữa hai nhà máy, tỷ lệ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic của NLĐ ở nhà máy luyện thép Lưu Xá là 12,3%, tỷ lệ NLĐ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic ở nhà máy luyện gang là 11,5%. thế giới. Kể từ năm 2006, WHO đã chấp nhận sử dụng hai loại vaccine chống lại Rotavirus (RotaTeq và Rotarix), điều này đã góp phần giảm đáng kể tỷ lệ mắc và tử vong do căn bệnh này ở trẻ em dưới 5 tuổi. Bên cạnh đó, sự tồn tại của vaccine có thể gây áp lực chọn lọc giữa các chủng RV đang lưu hành. Các mẫu phân có chứa tiêu chảy là một phần của nghiên cứu thuộc dự án \"Đánh giá hiệu quả vaccine rotavirus tại Việt Nam\" và một số mẫu phân được chọn ngẫu nhiên từ năm 2010 - 2015 đã được lưu trữ tại phòng thí nghiệm của chúng tôi. Kháng nguyên rotavirus trong các mẫu phân được phát hiện bằng cách sử dụng bộ kit Premier Rotaclone. Các kiểu gen G và P được xác định bằng RT-PCR sử dụng các mồi đặc hiệu. Chuỗi nucleotide được xác định bằng cách giải trình tự thế hệ tiếp theo và phân tích phát sinh loài được thực hiện bằng phương pháp hàng xóm. Có 375\u002F1715 (21,9%) mẫu phát hiện chủng G3 bao gồm G3 giống ngựa (eG3) và G3 người (hG3). Tỷ lệ tồn tại của các chủng G3 đã giảm từ năm 2016 đến năm 2021. Tất cả mười một đoạn gene đã được phân loại trong số 34 mẫu và sự đa dạng rõ rệt giữa các chủng đang lưu hành đã được quan sát. Các chủng G3 đang lưu hành cũng có sự đa dạng phát sinh loài và có liên quan đến các chủng từ một số quốc gia khác nhau, có nguồn gốc khác nhau như con người (20 mẫu), lợn (1 mẫu), mèo (3 mẫu) và ngựa (10 mẫu). So với các chủng vaccine, các epitop kháng nguyên hiện diện trên VP7 của G3 ở Việt Nam khác biệt đáng kể, đặc biệt là K238N. Với các đặc điểm di truyền của chủng G3, nó có thể góp phần vào hiệu quả của vaccine tại Việt Nam.","Rotavirus (RV) is the most common cause of severe childhood diarrhea worldwide. Since 2006, the WHO has approved the use of two vaccines against Rotavirus (RotaTeq and Rotarix), which has contributed to a significant reduction in morbidity and mortality from this disease in children under 5 years of age. Beside of that, the presence of vaccines could also cause selective pressure among circulating RV strains. Diarrhea samples were a part of the study of the project “Evaluation of rotavirus vaccine effectiveness in Vietnam” and some diarrhea samples were randomly selected from 2010 - 2015 and were stored in our laboratory. Rotavirus antigen in diarrhea samples was detected using the Premier Rotaclone kit. G and P genotypes were determined by RT-PCR using type specific primers. The nucleotide sequencewas determined by next generation sequencing and phylogenetic analysis was performed by the neighbor-joining method. 375\u002F1715 (21.9%) samples detected G3 strain include equine-like G3 (eG3) and human G3 (hG3). The prevalence of G3 strains decreased from 2016 to 2021. All eleven gene segments were typed among 34 samples and substantial diversity among the circulating strains was observed. The circulating G3 strains were also phylogenetically diverse and related to strains from several different countries, different origins such as human (20 samples), pig (1 sample), cat (3 samples) and equine (10 samples). Comparing with the vaccine strains, the antigenic epitopes present on VP7 ofG3 in Vietnam differed considerably, especially the K238N. results of patients with cutaneous adverse drug reactions (cADRs) at the Dermatology Department of Viet Tiep Hospital, from 2015 to 2020. The study design was a cross-sectional descriptive study in a group of 246 inpatients. The study results showed that 95.5% of patients had itching on admission, and 71.5% of patients had erythema as the initial symptom. 31.1% of cases were diagnosed as severe forms. 25.68% of patients admitted to the hospital showed signs of fever, of which 13.8% had a high fever ≥ 38.50C. There were 32.5% with mild neutrophilic leukocytosis. Enzyme AST, ALT normal in 85.1% of patients. The mean duration of treatment for all subjects was 7.9 days. Erythroderma had the longest treatment time of14.5 days. 100% of patients with cADR were discharged from the hospital. 23.1% of patients with Lyell’s syndrome had severe progression to hospital. Conclusions: Itching and erythema are common initiating symptoms of cADR. Severe forms account for a lower proportion than normal ones, but the treatment time is longer. ","Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là mô tả đặc điểm lâm sàng, cận lâm sàng và kết quả điều trị bệnh nhân nhânnhiễm độc da do thuốc tại khoa Da liễu Bệnh viện Việt Tiệp, từ 2015 đến 2020. Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được tiến hành trên 246 bệnh nhân nhiễm độc da do thuốc điều trị nội trú tại Khoa Da liễu Bệnh viện Việt Tiệp từ 1\u002F2015 đến 12\u002F2020. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy khi vào viện 95,5% bệnh nhân có ngứa, 71,5% bệnh nhân có dát đỏ là triệu chứng khởi đầu. 31,1% các trường hợp được chẩn đoán là các thể nặng. 25,7% bệnh nhân vào viện có dấu hiệu sốt, trong đó 13,8% sốt cao ≥ 38,5oC. Có 32,5% có tăng bạch cầu đa nhân trung tính mức độ nhẹ. Chỉ số enzym AST, ALT bình thường ở 85,1% số bệnh nhân. Thời gian điều trị trung bình của tất cả các thể là 7,9 ngày. Thể đỏ da toàn thân có thời gian điều trị dài nhất là 14,5 ngày. 100% bệnh nhân nhiễm độc da do thuốc thể thông thường ổn định và ra viện. 23,1% bệnh nhân hội chứng Lyell có tiến triển nặng phải chuyển viện. qua hệ thống thang điểm đánh giá của UK NEQAS. Kết quả cho thấy, số phòng xét nghiệm (PXN) tham gia đối với huyết thanh học ký sinh trùng đạt hiệu suất tốt (PR≥0) từ 40,7% - 52,6%, các PXN tham gia soi phân tìm ký sinh trùng đường ruột có số phòng hiệu suất tốt (PR≥0) từ 57,1% - 83% và các PXN tham gia huyết thanh học viêm gan B&C có hiệu suất tốt (PR≥0) từ 61,8 – 91,2%. Để nâng cao chương trình đánh giá hiệu suất phòng xét nghiệm tham gia EQA định tính và bán định lượng tại trung tâm cần áp dụng thang điểm để đánh giá hiệu suất phòng xét nghiệm tham gia EQA thường xuyên nhằm nâng cao chất lượng xét nghiệm của phòng xét nghiệm hướng tới tiêu chuẩn quốc tế. Từ đó ngăn chặn hoặc khắc phục sớm các vấn đề để điều tra các kết quả không đạt yêu cầu một cách kỹ lưỡng và có phương pháp khoa học. ","This paper aims to assess the performance for laboratories participating in the external qualitative and semi-quantitative laboratory testing program from the frst quarter of 2018 to the frst quarter of 2020 at the Quality Control Center for Medical Laboratory - University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City by applying a scale to performance ratings. The research outcomes showed, the number of laboratories participating in parasite serology with good performance (PR≥0) ranged from 40.7% to 52.6%. good yield (PR≥0) from 57.1% - 83% and laboratories participating in hepatitis B&C serology have good performance (PR≥0) from 61.8 to 91.2%. Performance rating external of the survey results on a regular basis serves as a useful guide to assess overall performance of the laboratory. From there, prevent or overcome problems early to investigate unsatisfactory results thoroughly and methodically. Nghiên cứu thực hiện trên 139 đối tượng, sử dụng bộ câu hỏi và thang điểm để đánh giá kiến thức, thái độ và thực hành của người tham gia nghiên cứu. Kết quả cho thấy 63,3% đối tượng nghiên cứu cho rằng kháng sinh có tác dụng phòng bệnh cho vật nuôi, 40,3% cho rằng kháng kháng sinh không xảy ra trong chăn nuôi hoặc không chắc chắn về điều này, 81,2% sử dụng kháng sinh với mục đích phòng bệnh cho vật nuôi. Người từ 41 – 50 tuổi có kiến thức tốt nhất; người có trình độ học vấn từ trung học phổ thông trở lên có thái độ tốt nhất. Thu nhập là yếu tố có mối liên quan hai chiều với các yếu tố kiến thức, thái độ và thực hành. Tăng một điểm kiến thức làm tăng 92% khả năng sử dụng kháng sinh theo đúng nguồn hướng dẫn. Tăng một điểm thái độ làm giảm 31% khả năng sử dụng kháng sinh trong chăn nuôi. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy cần nâng cao kiến thức và thái độ của người làm chăn nuôi nhằm tăng cường các thực hành tốt trong sử dụng kháng sinh trong chăn nuôi. ","A cross - sectional survey aimed to describe knowledge, attitude and practice regarding antibiotic and antibiotic resistance of livestock farmers and associated factors in Yen Nam commune, Duy Tien district, Ha Nam province in 2019. A structured questionnaire and scale to collect and assess knowledge, attitude and practice of 139 participants. 63.3% farmers thought that antibiotics could be used as a prophylaxis for animals, 40.3% believed that antibiotic resistance did not occur in animals or was not sure about this, 81.2% used antibiotics for disease prevention purposes. Participants aged from 41 to 50 years old was the best knowledge group; people having high school education level and over was the best attitude group. Income was a two-way association factor of knowledge, attitude and practice. An increase of 01 knowledge point increased 92% possibility of following correct guidance sources in using antibiotics. An increase of 01 attitude point decreased 31% possibility of using antibiotics in livestock activities. The study results showed the needs to improve knowledge and attitute of livestock farmers in order to promote good practices in using antibiotics for food animals. khí hậu nóng, hơi khí độc, bụi… làm ảnh hưởng tới sức khỏe của người lao động. Nghiên cứu này được tiến hành nhằm mục tiêu mô tả thực trạng bụi trong môi trường làm việc và tỷ lệ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic ở người lao động Công ty Cơ khí gang thép năm 2018. Thiết kế nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang, khảo sát đặc điểm bụi trong môi trường lao động ở 11 vị trí lao động và khám lâm sàng, chụp X-quang bụi phổi theo tiêu chuẩn của ILO, đo chức năng hô hấp cho 185 người lao động (NLĐ) trực tiếp làm trong các dây chuyền sản xuất cơ khí. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng: Có 6 vị trí có nồng độ silic tự do trong bụi hô hấp vượt quá tiêu chuẩn cho phép cao nhất là khu vực làm sạch vật đúc, hoàn thiện của phân xưởng 1 (0,35 mg\u002Fm3), có 3 vị trí có nồng độ silic tự do trong bụi toàn phần vượt quá giới hạn cho phép, cao nhất là tại khu vực làm sạch vật đúc, hoàn thiện của phân xưởng 1 (0,63 mg\u002Fm3). Tỷ lệ NLĐ mắc bệnh bụi phổi silic là 6,5%. Tỷ lệ NLĐ có hình ảnh tổn thương phổi trên phim Xquang là 6,5%, và tất cả là tổn thương đám mờ tròn nhỏ trên phim X-quang, tỷ lệ có hình ảnh bụi phổi silic trên phim X-quang có xu hướng tăng dần theo tuổi nghề của NLĐ (p<0,01) và 19 NLĐ (10,3%) có rối loạn thông khí phổi khi đo chức năng hô hấp. Công ty cần có những biện pháp phù hợp để bảo vệ sức khỏe của NLĐ, đặc biệt là những người có tuổi nghề cao. ","Mechanics is a heavy industry with many occupational risk factors such as noise, hot microclimate, toxic gas, dust, etc. affecting the health of workers. This study was conducted to research dust in the working environment and the percentage of workers suffering from silicosis at Thai Nguyen Mechanical Joint Stock Company in 2018. This is a cross-sectional study with a survey about features of the dust present in the working environment at 11 positions and clinical examination, chest X-rayin accordance with ILO standards, measuring respiratory function for 185 employees directly working in mechanical production lines. The results of the study indicate that there were 6 locations with concentration of free silicon in the respiratory dust exceeding the highest permissible standards, including foundry cleaning and fnishing areas of workshop 1 (0.35 mg\u002Fm3). The results also showed that there were 3 positions with concentration of free silicon in total dust exceeding the permissible limit, with the highest being in the casting and fnishing area of workshop 1 (0.63 mg\u002Fm3). The incidence of workers suffering from silicosis was 6.5%. The percentage of workers having Xray images of silicosis was 6.5% and all of them had small round opacities on X-ray flm, and 19 workers (10.3%) had dysfunction respiratory. To assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices in preventing the impacts of climate change on the health among inhabitants in coastal plains, a cross-sectional descriptive study was performed with 410 inhabitants in Quang Phuoc commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue in 2019. The results showed that the percentage of people who have general knowledge about climate change was 38.8% and only 12.0% of people had full knowledge about the impacts of climate change on health. 42.4% of people showed their interest in the prevention of health issues related to climate change and 12.4% of subjects had good practices in the prevention of health problems related to extreme weather events. The proportion of people who are fully aware of climate change, its impacts on health as well as take action to adapt and prevent the impacts of climate change on health is still limited, thus, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to improve their knowledge, attitude, and actions about this issues. ","Biến đổi khí hậu (BĐKH) là một trong những mối đe dọa lớn nhất đến sức khỏe của con người trên toàn cầu trong thế kỷ 21. Nhằm đánh giá kiến thức, thái độ và thực hành về phòng chống tác động của BĐKH đến sức khỏe của người dân thuộc vùng đồng bằng ven biển, nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang đã được tiến hành trên 410 người dân xã Quảng Phước, huyện Quảng Điền, tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế năm 2019. Kết quả cho thấy, tỷ lệ người dân đạt kiến thức chung về BĐKH là 38,8% và chỉ 12,0% người dân có kiến thức đầy đủ về tác động của BĐKH đến sức khỏe. 42,4% người dân có thái độ đạt về các vấn đề sức khỏe liên quan đến BĐKH và 12,4% số người được phỏng vấn có kỹ năng tốt về phòng chống các vấn đề sức khỏe liên quan đến các hiện tượng thời tiết cực đoan. Tỷ lệ người dân hiểu biết đầy đủ về BĐKH, tác động của BĐKH đến sức khỏe cũng như có hành động thích ứng và phòng ngừa tác động của BĐKH đến sức khỏe vẫn còn khá thấp nên việc tuyên truyền và vận động người dân nâng cao kiến thức, thái độ và hành động về vấn đề này là cần thiết.
