We investigated whether sending a social-norms-feedback letter to practices whose prescribing was increasing would reduce prescribing. We conducted a two-armed randomised controlled trial amongst practices whose STAR-PU-adjusted prescribing was in the 20th–95th percentiles and had increased by > 4% year-on-year in the 2 previous financial years. Intervention practices received a letter on 1st March 2018 stating ‘The great majority (80%) of practices in England reduced or stabilised their antibiotic prescribing rates in 2016\u002F17. However, your practice is in the minority that have increased their prescribing by more than 4%.’. Control practices received no letter. The primary outcome was the STAR-PU-adjusted rate of antibiotic prescribing in the months from March to September 2018. We randomly assigned 930 practices; ten closed or merged pre-trial, leaving 920 practices — 448 in the intervention and 472 in the control. An autoregressive and moving average model of first order ARMA(1,1) correlation structure showed no effect of the intervention (β \u003C −0.01, z = −0.50, p = 0.565). Prescribing reduced over time in both arms (β \u003C −0.01, z = −36.36, p \u003C 0.001). identify the factors that lead to the legalization and jurisdiction of health care by patients and health customers of the Unified Health System of Brazil, SUS. The legalization of health care is effective when the citizen searches for health care in health institutions without success. Thus, his or her last alternative is to seek legal resources. This is a systematic review of the PubMed database carried out in February, March and April 2017 using the integrated method and three searches. The eligibility criteria for the studies were being published in English, Portuguese or Spanish, working with humans and articles being available in the full version. Dissertations, letters to the author, editorials, current themes and free themes were excluded. A total of 3338, 6 and 16 studies were found, respectively, in the first, second and third search. After refinement, there were 29 articles published between 2009 and 2016, of which 11 met the established criteria. The findings demonstrate that the population seeks the intervention of a legal system for access to medicine, treatment and therapy, medium and high complexity procedures and to obtain food formulas, supplies and medical hospital products. common saying that sports promote good health is in line with main results of sports medicine, but conflicting with the high amount of sports injuries and sports-related diseases. This paper contributes to the discussion of the pros and cons of sports, particularly of the martial arts. It intends to shed light on the benefits of sports in the general public and to explore the enormous and yet unexploited potential of individually tailored sport activities for public health. Comparative analyses and meta-synthesis of empirical studies on the health benefits of sports. Musicians with very heterogeneous work-related risk profiles serve as a model for inductive generalisation. For health promotion and to avoid adverse outcomes, sport activities must take one’s physical status and risk profiles into account and refer to well-adjusted training zones. This encompasses musculoskeletal and biomotor factors, behavioural means to rebalance the nervous system, cardiorespiratory fitness, mental health and psychological benefits, and active pain management and pain relief. Sports organisations provide a wide spectrum of facilities for sports-oriented lifestyles; however, informal experience and relevant publications let us assume that they rather do not explore how to optimise preventative and health-related benefits, except for training with personal coaches. The present longitudinal study investigated potential predictors of suicide ideation. Data of 406 participants from Germany (age M = 27.69, SD = 6.88) were assessed via online surveys in spring 2020 (baseline, BL) and in spring 2021 (follow-up, FU). The current results reveal a significant increase in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress between 2020 and 2021. Positive mental health (PMH), sense of control, and physical health significantly decreased. Depression symptoms (BL), PMH (BL), and consciously enhanced physical activity since the pandemic outbreak (FU) significantly predicted 12-month suicide ideation (FU). In a moderated mediation analysis, the positive relationship between depression and suicide ideation was significantly mediated by PMH. Consciously enhanced physical activity significantly moderated the negative association between PMH and suicide ideation. The context of Covid-19 could negatively impact mental health and physical health. This might increase the risk for suicide ideation. However, PMH and physical activity might serve as protective factors. The protective effect of physical activity could be especially important in people with high depression symptoms and low PMH, such as clinical patients. Grippeerkrankung stellt eine schwere Belastung für die Gesellschaft dar. Überdies sind die Kenntnisse der Grippeabwehrkräfte bisher noch nicht vollständig, auch wenn, Dank der Molekularbiologie, der Aufbau, die chemische Zusammensetzung und die Genetik des Grippevirus weitgehend bekannt sind. Die größte Schwierigkeit in der Entwicklung eines Impfstoffs wird durch die Variabilität des Grippevirus hervorgerufen. Die wichtigsten Grippeviren sind A und B, wobei der Influenza- Virus A sich in weitere Subtypen aufgeteilt, von denen H3N2 und H1N1 heute am bedeutendsten sind. Der gegenwärtige Grippeimpfstoff wird jährlich mit den Subtypen aktualisiert, die die größte Wahrscheinlichkeit aufweisen, in der Bevölkerung während der folgenden Grippesaison aufzutreten. The variables analysed included the utilization of healthcare facilities, age, education, work, marital status, parity, wealth, health insurance, autonomy of family finances, autonomy of health, knowledge of pregnancy, and antenatal care (ANC). The barriers were determined by binary logistic regression. Women with higher education were 2.288 times more likely to utilize healthcare facilities for delivery than women with no education. Multiparous women were 1.582 times more likely to use healthcare facilities for delivery than grand multiparous women. The richest women were 4.732 times more likely to use healthcare facilities for delivery than the poorest women. Women who were covered by health insurance were 1.363 times more likely to utilize healthcare facilities for delivery than women who did not have insurance. Women who knew the danger signs of pregnancy were 1.497 times more likely to use healthcare facilities for delivery than women who did not know the danger signs. Diverse variations exist between public and private schools yet most studies in Nigeria did not consider this in their evaluation. This study was conducted to assess the QoI of the School Health Programme (SHP) in public and private primary schools in Ibadan metropolis, using the NSHPo framework as a guide. The study utilized a comparative-descriptive cross-sectional design. A two-stage sampling technique was used to select one of five local government areas in a Metropolitan city and 68 primary schools. An observational checklist was used to assess the five domains of the SHP, namely: Healthful School Environment [HSE]; School Health Services [SHS]; Skills Based Health Education [SBHE]; School Feeding Services [SFS], and School, Home, and Community Relationship [SHCR]), as listed in the Nigerian SHPo framework. QoI was assessed by exploring availability, suitability, adequacy, and functionality of the domains measured. About half of the primary schools (38.5% public; 75.9% private) had first-aid boxes, but they were empty in 66.7% of public and 20.7% of private schools. A few (19.1%) had hand-washing facilities. Almost all the schools (97.1%) did not perform medical examination for school vendors. Only 35.3% of the schools had waste-disposal facilities, of which a significantly higher proportion were in private schools (72.4%) (P \u003C 0.001). None of the schools had counselling schedule or record of counselling sessions.
