The DCF method, however, is said to have many limitations with high irreversible fixed assets projects, or irreversible project in short (McDonald & Siegel, 1986). This type of project has a long lifecycle facing many uncertainties in operational period and thus these uncertainties could significantly change the expected profit. Real Option (RO) is considered more appropriate for appraisal of irreversible projects than DCF. This research synthesizes theoretical and empirical researches of the RO approach and recommends the direction of further empirical researches, as well as suggesting some background knowledges relating to RO such as uncertainty and risk, irreversibility of project, etc, to increase the possibility of applying RO in Vietnam.","Hầu hết các dự án đầu tư được thẩm định theo phương pháp truyền thống chiết khấu dòng tiền (DCF)1.
Project appraisal of irreversible project under uncertainty: the case of carbon taxation uncertainty","Thẩm định dự án không hủy ngang trong điều kiện bất định: trường hợp bất định về thuế carbon
10.52932/jfm.vi49.89","https://jfm.ufm.edu.vn/index.php/jfm/article/view/89","https://jfm.ufm.edu.vn/index.php/jfm/article/download/89/50",[
[
[],[],[
i10Index":29,"i10IndexLast5Year":29
"hindexLast5Year":55
2020":31,"2021":32,"2022":33,"2023":31,"2024":34},{"2019":37,"2020":38,"2021":39,"2022":40,"2023":41,"2024":42},{"2019":45,"2020":46,"2021":37,"2022":47,"2023":48},{"2019":51,"2020":52,"2021":53,"2022":31,"2023":54
{},"2026-05-25T22:40:22.982+00:00
"24bc089a-989f-4815-8b71-a5f5498ec15c","2023-07-03T07:51:23.472+00:00","2026-05-14T22:17:10.857+00:00",[],"Impact-of-credit-risk-management-on-the-financial-stability-of-Vietnamese-commercial-banks
"13035412034250768423
Akomeah, J., Agumeh, R., & Siaw, F. From the research results, the authors proposed some implications for credit risk management and solutions to promote financial stability for banks. The study used secondary data obtained from audited financial statements of banks in the period 2006 - 2020. Because the research model had intermediate variables, we used SEM to analyze and the data was processed by Stata. Research results show that non-performing loans and loan loss provisions had a direct effect on profitability and financial stability. Besides, there was an indirect relationship between credit risk management, profitability, and financial stability. However, the use of EMA by enterprises in Vietnam is not corresponding to that expectation. Based on contingency theory, this study aimed to understand the impact of 4 contingency factors – organizational size, industry, environmental strategy, and top management support – to the perception of accountants to the role of EMA. The result suggests the accountant’s perception to the role of EMA is associated with size, industry, and top management support. The remaining factor, environment strategy, is not found to be associated. This result will be held to support government and business managers in generating appropriate policies and strategies in the modern business environment.","Trong những năm gần đây, khi vấn đề phát triển bền vững được đặt lên hàng đầu thì kế toán quản trị môi trường nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm từ các bên liên quan. The results of the study found that there are two inverse relations between GDP and IPI that affect the NPL and there are two positive relations that affect NLP. From this result, lessons can be drawn and proposed solutions to stabilize the macro economy to reduce the bad debt ratio (NPL) in Vietnam’s banking sector to match the Industry 4.0.
