Bảng hỏi hành vi xã hội ở trẻ em (CSBQ) bao gồm các mục liên quan đến những vấn đề hành vi thường thấy ở trẻ em có các biến thể nhẹ hơn của Rối loạn phát triển toàn diện (PDD). Dữ liệu từ các mẫu lớn trẻ em được chẩn đoán mắc bệnh tự kỷ chức năng cao, PDDNOS, ADHD và các rối loạn tâm thần trẻ em khác đã được thu thập. Ngoài CSBQ, các bậc phụ huynh còn hoàn thành Bảng kiểm tra hành vi tự kỷ (ABC) và Bảng kiểm tra hành vi trẻ em (CBCL). Dữ liệu đã cung cấp cơ sở cho việc xây dựng thang đo của CSBQ, so sánh các thang đo CSBQ với các công cụ khác và so sánh điểm số giữa các nhóm trên CSBQ.
