SOME COMPOUNDS ISOLATED FROM THE SEAGRASS HALODULE UNINERVIS

From the methanol extract of the seagrass Halodule uninervis, five pure compounds were isolated for the first time from this species using a combination of various chromatographic techniques. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated based on the analysis of mass spectrometry data (ESI-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, DEPT, HMBC, HSQC, and COSY), in conjunction with comparisons to previously published literature.
