Hoạt tính sinh học của chiết xuất tannin từ Camellia sinensis (trà đen và trà xanh), Vicia faba và Urtica dioica cùng với tinh dầu Allium cepa trên ba loại côn trùng kinh tế

Ngày nay, để tiến tới nông nghiệp bền vững hơn, cần sử dụng các phương pháp thay thế thuốc trừ sâu có tác dụng tích cực và đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc giảm thiểu việc sử dụng thuốc trừ sâu. Các thử nghiệm sinh học trong phòng thí nghiệm đã được thực hiện để phân tích hoạt tính sinh học của tannin chiết xuất từ lá cây cỏ urtica (U), vỏ đậu (B), trà đen (BT) và trà xanh (GT) trên ấu trùng sâu bướm ăn lá bông Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval) sử dụng kỹ thuật trộn thức ăn, và tinh dầu chiết xuất từ hành tây trên ấu trùng sâu bướm ăn lá bông, trưởng thành của rầy nâu và ruồi nhà bằng kỹ thuật xông hơi. Kết quả cho thấy, trong tuần đầu tiên điều trị, tannin chiết xuất từ U có hoạt động chống ăn mạnh nhất với EC50 là 33.034 μg/g, tiếp theo là tannin chiết xuất từ B (EC50 = 47.839 μg/g). Trong tuần thứ hai và thứ ba, tannin chiết xuất từ B thể hiện hoạt tính chống ăn cao nhất (EC50 = 37.733 và 84.828, tương ứng). Hơn nữa, tannin được chiết xuất đã gây ức chế đáng kể sự phát triển ấu trùng trên S littoralis. Mặt khác, tỷ lệ tử vong của tinh dầu hành tây trên các côn trùng thử nghiệm tăng rõ rệt với cả nồng độ và thời gian tiếp xúc tăng. LC50 (μg/cm3) sau 30 phút cho thấy tinh dầu có độc tính cao hơn đối với sâu bướm ăn lá bông với LC50 = 2.15 μg/cm3 trong khi độc tính thấp nhất đối với ruồi nhà (LC50 = 16.09). Hành động đuổi côn trùng dựa trên giá trị LT50 cho thấy rất hiệu quả trên ruồi nhà (LT50 = 1.85 phút).
